Join our New Year’s Eve Zoom Fundraiser from 8-10 PM on December 31st. We will celebrate the coming new year by sharing exciting plans and our positive hopes and aspirations. We will toast the New year when Midnight hits Newfoundland (8:30pm in Alberta).
To join, buy a ticket here. You will need to agree to only share positive thoughts as we want to celebrate hope!
Dress up (or not) and enjoy your favourite Libations and Treats in the comfort of your own home. Expect some special guest appearances!

Storytelling Through Metaphors is an intimate, multi-sensory fundraising experience designed to invite guests to truly know David Shepherd—not through speeches or formal appeals, but through food, art, music, and shared moments of connection. Curated by Moments by Morrel, this one-night experience blends culture, creativity, and elevated hospitality.
The Experience: The evening will unfold as a progressive journey, with three distinct ways to participate—each revealing a different dimension of David’s story while offering a meaningful chance to connect.
Each ticket tier includes the tiers beneath it (ie - $500 ticket includes dinner, coffee experience and concert.)
Roots and Rhythm | 5:00–6:45 PM
An Intimate Culinary Experience — $500 per guest | Limited seating
Join David for a chef-led dinner inspired by David’s Caribbean heritage and family traditions. In partnership with Café Caribbean, guests gather around the table for a multi-course meal paired with custom Caribbean-inspired cocktails and warm conversation.
David will join the culinary team to prepare one of his favorite dishes, sharing stories of culture, family, and the values that shape his vision today. This intimate setting encourages thoughtful dialogue, reflection, and genuine relationship-building.
Energy and Expression | 7:00–8:00 PM
Creativity as Connection — $150 per guest
The experience transitions into a relaxed, creative gathering in partnership with Rogue Wave Coffee. Guests explore the artistry of coffee through guided tastings and hands-on latte art, transforming a daily ritual into an expressive, shared moment.
Guests may enhance their drinks with premium local liqueurs while enjoying curated sweet and savory pairings.
Sound and Story | 8:00–9:30 PM
A Shared Celebration — $75 per guest
The evening concludes with a live performance by David Shepherd, bringing all guests together for a powerful closing moment of music, storytelling, and collective energy.
Light bites from Café Caribbean and fresh coffee from Rogue Wave will be available throughout the finale.
All guests will have the opportunity to meet the performers and special guests. Contributions do not provide preferential access or influence over elected officials.
